Definitions
“CONTEST”
The events/contests organized by the Promoter to which these terms and conditions apply, wherein the Entrants submit entries via related Websites to win the Prize.
“PRIZE”
Rewards determined by the Promoter for each Contest to be given away to the winners.
“PROMOTER”
The Admins/Site Owners of Ultimate-Contest.com and related web-pages such as UContest Facebook Fan Page and so on.
“ENTRY”
Participations of Entrants submitted to the Promoter via the Contest related sites to obtain an opportunity to win the Prize.
“ENTRANT”
Any person (not including a limited company, partnership or limited liability partnership) age above 18 who enters the Contest through the Website to win the Prize.
“WEBSITE”
http://Ultimate-Contest.com/ and related web-pages such as UContest Facebook Fan Page and so on.
“WINNER”
The Entrant chosen on or after the closing date who will receive the Prize in accordance with these terms and conditions.
“MINIMUM NUMBER OF ENTRIES”
The lowest amount of Entrants required for a particular Contest.
“MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ENTRIES”
The highest amount of Entrants required for a particular Contest.
“CONTEST STATUS”
The status of each Contest determined by the Promoter on the Website via Status labels shown in Red. ie: ‘Started’, ‘Ended’, ‘Cancelled’, ‘Dispute’.
“CONTEST TYPE”
The types of each Contest determined by the Promoter on the Website via Type labels shown in Green. ie: ‘In-House’, ‘Featured’, ‘Premium’, ‘Sponsored’.
General
- By entering the Contest via the Website, Entrants are deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions and agrees to be bound by them.
- Upon entering the Contest, all Entrants must submit all contact details requested by the Promoter which must include a valid e-mail address which will be used for the following purposes:
- to notify the Winner that they have won the Prize;
- to post the Winner’s name and town of residence on the Website;
- to comply with the privacy policy.
- All Entrants are solely and completely responsible for providing the Promoter with accurate and current contact details.
- The Promoter will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to make contact with any Entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details provided by the Entrants or otherwise.
- The Contest is operated by the Promoter(s).
- Subject to clause 11 below, the Contest is open for entry to all persons aged 18 or over;
- Entries made by the Entrants to the Contest will only be valid if made via the mentioned Websites.
- All Entrants acknowledge that:
- The registration information submitted to the Website will be recorded on the Promoter’s system.
- The Promoter(s) will NOT resell or share this ‘Information’ with third party in any forms
- The Promoter(s) are granted permissions to use this ‘Information’ on their ‘Contests’ or ‘Campaigns’.
- As a condition of entering the Contest, Entrants must ensure that, by doing so, they do not contravene any laws of their country of residence. The Promoter will not be liable in any way if an Entrant enters the Contest unlawfully.
- By entering the Contest, Entrants warrant that all information which they submit is accurate, true, current and complete. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant (entirely at their own discretion) if there are reasonable grounds to believe the Entrant has acted in breach of any of these terms and conditions.
- The Promoter, their family, agents, employees, professional advisers or anyone else connected with the development or operation of the Website or conductor of administration of the Contest in any way, shape or form, are not eligible to enter the Contest.
Prizes
- The Promoter does not in any way guarantee the value of the Prize and are not responsible or liable in any way.
- The specs and conditions of Prizes are as good as they are when they were purchased/sponsored, the Promoter(s) are not responsible or liable in any way of its defects during the transfers and no replacements will be given.
- The purpose of the Contest is to win the Prize;
The Contest
- The process to determine the Winner will begin the day after the closing date and a final decision will be made within 7 days of that date.
- To commence an entry into the Contest, an Entrant will be asked to provide their contact details (including postal and e-mail addresses and a telephone number).
- To be qualified as an Entrant and able to win Prizes, the Entrants are required to become a ‘Fan’ of UContest Facebook Fan Page.
- When the maximum number of Entries or the closing date is reached, the Contest will close; however the Promoter reserves the right to extend the closing date at his discretion.
- The Winner of the Prize will be the Entrant whose details are randomly drawn.
- The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
- If the Winner cannot be contacted by the Promoter within 30 days of being notified of their status as the Winner by the contact details submitted in their entry, the Promoter shall be entitled to award the Prize to the Entrant selected by drawing another winning entry at random in the same method as described above, an alternative Winner. The alternative Winner shall have 14 days from notification of their status by the Promoter to communicate their acceptance of the Prize.
Closing the Contest
- If the Minimum Number of Entries to the Contest is not equal to or less than the number of entries received as at the Closing Date, the Contest will be closed at the Promoter(s) discretion.
- The Winner of the Contest will then be determined in accordance with other compensation methods.
- The Decision of Closing a Contest is Final, by the Promoter(s) if ‘Disputes’ are found.
- ‘Closed’ & ‘Dispute’ Contests will be labelled with Red Colored Tag accordingly.
Other Issues
- The Promoter(s) reserves the rights to update, amend, and remove any details in these Terms & Conditions without informing the Entrants.
